FAQ
Common questions about motorcycle repair near you.
Answers to what riders in ChampionsGate, Kissimmee, and Central Florida ask most before booking service with Boosted Misfits Performance.
General
Where are you located?
Boosted Misfits Performance is based in the ChampionsGate and Kissimmee area of Central Florida. We offer appointment-based shop drop-off and mobile motorcycle service across the region. Call or text us to confirm the best option for your situation.
What types of motorcycles do you service?
We specialize in sport bikes and cruisers. If you have a different type of motorcycle, call or text us — we handle most bikes and can let you know before you make the trip.
Do you service bikes from all brands?
Yes. We service most makes and models including Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, and others. Text us your year, make, and model and we'll confirm before scheduling.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes — we operate by appointment for shop drop-off work. Mobile service is also scheduled in advance. Call or text (407) 557-7309 to set up a time.
Are you a dealership or independent shop?
Independent. That means lower overhead, no upsells, and a mechanic who actually focuses on motorcycles — not an afterthought service bay attached to a car lot.
Pricing & Costs
How much does motorcycle repair cost?
It depends on the service. Routine maintenance like an oil change starts around $95. Tire installs start around $35 for labor only. Larger jobs like fork seal replacement or clutch work range from $150–$450. Check the pricing page for a full breakdown, and text us with your bike details for an accurate quote before we touch anything.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee?
Yes — diagnostic inspections start at $75. The fee covers the time it takes to identify the problem. If you choose to have the repair done with us, the diagnostic fee is credited toward the total cost of the repair. You don't pay it twice.
What if I just want the diagnostic and will do the repair myself?
That's completely fine. The diagnostic fee still applies, and you'll leave with a clear picture of what's wrong and what it would take to fix it. No pressure to have us do the work.
Do you provide written estimates?
Yes. We quote before any work begins. Text or call with your bike details and service needed and we'll get you a number upfront.
How much does a motorcycle oil change cost?
Oil service for cruisers starts at $95 and sport bikes start at $120 for conventional oil. Full synthetic runs slightly higher. Price includes the oil change, filter, and a basic inspection. Call or text with your year, make, and model for an exact quote.
How much does it cost to replace motorcycle tires?
Labor-only tire installs start at $35 for sport bikes and $50 for cruisers if you supply the tires. Front and rear combos run $125–$225 depending on bike type. Parts cost varies by tire brand and size.
Mobile Service
Do you offer mobile motorcycle repair?
Yes. We offer mobile service across Central Florida for jobs that can be handled on-site. Not every repair is a good fit for mobile — some jobs need the bike in the shop. Call or text with your location and the service needed and we'll tell you whether mobile works.
What areas do you cover for mobile service?
We cover the ChampionsGate, Kissimmee, and greater Central Florida area. Text us your location and we'll confirm availability.
What repairs can be done mobile?
Mobile-friendly jobs include tire changes, oil service, brake pad swaps, chain work, battery installs, and some electrical diagnostics. Larger jobs like fork rebuilds or clutch replacements typically need shop access. When in doubt, text us — we'll be straight with you.
Is there an extra charge for mobile service?
Mobile service may include a travel fee depending on your location. We'll factor that into the quote upfront so there are no surprises.
Turnaround & Scheduling
How long does motorcycle repair take?
Simple jobs like oil changes or tire swaps are often done same-day or next-day. Larger repairs like fork rebuilds or clutch work may take 2–5 days depending on parts availability. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when you call or text.
How do I book an appointment?
Call or text (407) 557-7309. Include your year, make, model, what's going on with the bike, and whether you need mobile service or shop drop-off. We'll get back to you with availability.
What should I tell you when I reach out?
The more detail the better: year, make, model, sport bike or cruiser, the symptom or service you need, your location (if mobile), and your availability. That lets us quote accurately and schedule efficiently.
Parts & Work Warranty
Do you supply parts or do I bring my own?
We can source parts for most jobs. If you have parts you want installed, let us know upfront — we'll confirm compatibility before scheduling. Note that warranty on labor may not apply to customer-supplied parts.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes. We stand behind our labor. Specifics vary by job — ask when you call or text and we'll tell you what's covered for your repair.
Can you do a pre-purchase inspection on a used bike?
Yes — pre-purchase inspections are one of the most common requests we get. We go through the whole bike before you commit and give you a clear condition report. The inspection fee is $100–$200 and applies toward any repair if you buy the bike and bring it back to us.
